Can I program my 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie to automatically close the sunroof when I lock the doors?

Asked by luckylendy May 16, 2013 at 08:15 AM about the Dodge RAM 1500

Question type: General

Hate the risk of accidently leaving my sunroof open (in the vent position).
I wonder if I could program it to close automatically when I shut off the car or lock the door.  Possible?

Yes it's possible....there are these "hacking the car codes" websites that you may have to resort to...but I do believe this is entirely possible with the right intelligence~

You can add an aftermarket alarm with remote start or with out, and they all have a wire that is armed for a certain amount of time or stay grounded, I put a window roll up module on mine, when you set the alarm it triggers all the windows to roll up at once, you can use it to close your sunroof, it works great, and it can tell when its closed by the amp draw raising up slightly.
