my 1992 Mercedes is not charging,wires exposed going to the battery

My 1992 Mercedes is not charging wires going to the rear of car is burnt or exposed,can I get a harness going to the rear of the car,or could I fix it.New alterenator and battery.Thank for your help Lionel

if you can keep track of them...color...how many..take pictures and send a picture here.......do one at a time...
Mercedes of this era have all had the wiring harnesses just crumble and fall apart due to poor quality insulation used on the wiring.
