Does high octane fuel damage converters in the 2003 gmc safari/4.6L v-6?

Your vehicle does not require high octane but it won't hurt the catalytic converters if you chose to use it anyway. The only thing that damages converters is an overly rich fuel mixture, that will result in combustion of fuel and overheating them. Also, your V6 engine is 4.3 liter.
