A grinder can get those old spring bolts out or a 700 ft. Lb or higher impact does well to break them off.

The front catalytic converter on the 2011 aveo is welded to the exhaust manifold as a single unit and must be replaced as a unit. Typical replacement part is 500-1200 depending on source. The rear converter bolts on/off. Earlier models have separate manifold/converter configurations which can be replaced individually with prices being much less expensive.
