On-Star is a service provided by General Motors that allows a customer to contact a service center from your car for many things. One of the most important is automatic accident notification. If you are are in an accident the center will call you in the car to confirm if you are OK and need assistance. They can also send police and ambulance. It is an in-car phone, can provide navigation to your destination, and support answering just about any questions you might have...
