2000 f-350

I have a 2000 f-350 with the 7.3 turbo
desiel. When I got off work I pulled out and
barly got down the road and it lost power
and died on my. I pulled over and cranked
on it for awhile and it finally restarted and
had smoke rolling out the tail pipe and ran
like crap. After a few mins of revving it up it
started to clear up and then ran just fine
the rest of the way home. Then the next
morning started right up just fine and took
me to work. Then after work I left got just lil
ways down the rd and it died again and
same thang. Took awhile to get restarted
then ran like crap for a bit then cleared up
and ran fine. Could really use some help on
this.
