1996, f-150, 5.0 for about a week it would run but cut off, wiggle key and would start most of time, now it will turn over but not start, no fire to plugs

replaced key assembly, electrical ignition switch under steering column, spark plugs, rotor in distributor, coil, fuel line filter, electronic ignition module inside left fender. fuel pump working, testing today and twice I had fire at coil wire, but not to spark plugs, engine turns over but will not start

Check distributor to see if rotor rotates, this engine has a pin on distributor that holds the gear, if that pins breaks, ur rotor does not turn and spark does not go to spark plugs

Yes, check for rotation and it was good, and has not jumped time. I'm thinking it might be an electrical problem since there is not a continuous current at the new coil, even changed the coil wire just to make sure it wasn't bad

Try jumping coil direct see if it starts. +12 frim battery to +side of coil. If it starts then u know fir sure it's an electrical issue with start signal and start tracing wire back to ignition switch
