My 1994 Ford F150 4.9 randomly cuts off while driving or in neutral in driveway. How do I fix this?

Check battery altenator and throttle positions sensors

Just put new alternator and battery in 3 months ago but I will check throttle position sensors first. Thank you for tip

The code will only show if it stalls while hooked up I think.I repaced ignition switch.had fuelpressure test done.replaced plugs wires and dis cap.still stalls.the stalling happens everyday but is random with no shaking or chugging. Truck runs great till it stalls. Then you have to wait 2 to 10 mins to start again

Not sure but I will find out. I drove a couple miles this morn it was fine got home and let it idle in driveway 2 mins later it stalled. Its a 60 dollar part so I will take it back and have it done again

Tennisshoes as far as test goes he said he tested it 4 times to make sure it warmed up and its fine. But I don't know if that Qualifies as heat stress test

If anybody is out there I replaced ignition module. Egr valve position sensor. Throttle body pos sensor. Now I have check engine light and still no luck with fixing stalling problem..Does anyone have any more ideas. GOING CRAZY!!!

Ok tennis. I had a ford guy tell me the iac valve after I told him everything I've done but he did sound surprised when I told him I hadn't changed coil yet. So today is change iac change out coil and cross fingers.haaa will report back after. Thank you sir!

No luck. All these things I've done haven't worked, but I'm not crazy anymore I just can't stop laughing..

Ok tennis my pip circuit in distributor was bad...So I replaced my distributor because circuit is in it..no more stalling.Thanks for yoyr help!

Oh and oreillys was the only place I could find that had the obd1 to test my old truck..would have saved me time and money if I knew that at beginning.
