take a test light and find the memory power witch is always on, hook that up to memory wire on cd player that's usuly yellow.then find power that turns on off when you turn the key on and all the way back, hook it up to main power on radio wicth is usuly red.now the cd player will power up.your speaker wires behind cd player will be marked front left.rear left and so on,all wires will be marked, fronts are usuly grey, white, rear usuly purple, green.now on the plug that has no power that's where your speakers will hook up,if your carefull you can take a set of speaker wires from the cd player say left front or witch ever and find each speaker in the non power plug in by trying different combination till u find wich wires are for witch speaker.theres usuly a fuse behind the cd player but I always like to put a fuse link on the power wires anyway.i almost forgot your cd player wont power up till you hook up your ground wire the black one to a proper ground in the vehicle.i usuly cut on the plugs witch will make your job easier, you can buy a kit but why waste money , you have to hook up the wires in the kit to the radio anyway.

Don't cut any wires. You'll wish you didn't plus you run a good chance of shorting out something by hooking up the wrong wire or having wires touching. That's why they make installation kits for cars. Back in the day before computer operated cars it was simple with only 4 speaker wires and a power and ground wire but now it's a lot more high tech and you really need a wiring install kit. Do the job once and do the job right. Spend the $20 and buy the kit. If you have 2 long plugs, one black & one gray, then that is normal sound. If you have one long plug and one square plug on the back you should have premium sound with a factory amp, Either way, it's much easier with the kit and no guess work as they tell you which wires go where and if you ever sell your vehicle or it gets in a wreck the stereo will come in and out much easier and if you only just sell the vehicle the next owner will appreciate you not cutting wires.
