ABS light on when VERY cold
My ABS warning light comes on when it is VERY cold out when I start the truck for the first time in the morning. The light will go
out and stay out the first time I re start the truck after it warms up. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

What year model is your Explorer? How long does the ABS light stay on the first time you start the truck? Does it turn off on it's own without turning the truck off after the first start up? There's not much that goes into the ABS system, and usually temperature would not have any effect on the ABS components...but I've seen stranger things...
Because the ABS system is pretty simple, any Ford dealer could diagnose the issue relatively quickly unless you have a wiring problem...If the light stays on, it should leave a code...if there is a code, there is an appropriate pinpoint test to find the fault...Mainly there is an ABS module that receives info the the ABS wheel speed sensors/diff sensor depending on year model, and the ABS module relays the info to the PCM...pretty basic...the computer at the dealership can monitor the PIDS for each individual sensor to make sure they are working properly...the most expensive repair would be having to replace the ABS module, which, at my guess, is probably around $350-$400.
