Q on fuel pressure regulator, Crown Victoria Fleet

Asked by Gorniak Mar 19, 2018 at 01:24 PM about the Ford Crown Victoria

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a late model Crown Victoria fleet vehicle. I'm also in France, parts are less available here. I want to replace fuel pressure regulator, but the assembly is over 300 USD. What else can I do?

The fuel pressure regulator is not anywhere near that price, at least here in the states. (About $50-70), replacing it is straight forward, just unplug it and swap it out. Do you have an OBD code indicating a problem with it?
