What is involved for replacing a oil pan gasket?

try tightening it first- the OP gaskets are usually made of rubber so they can be compressed further when the nuts loosen- if tightening doesn't help- you are looking at a lot of labor- to get the oil pan off the engine has to come out- there are other ways to approach it, but they are all like working a Chinese puzzle-
