I am looking for a 2015 mustang gt or ecoboost. We're in the middle of September, will the price likely drop at the beginning of 2016? Used and new.

The best time to purchase a car is now. You can also wait till the end of the year (last week in December) or at the end of each month sales guys are always looking to make their sales number..

The price always drops for the left over models when the new models appear in the showrooms. As joemom said buy towards the end of the month cause the dealers and salesmen try to make extra bonus money increasing the sold car count at the end of the month. The last day of the month might be the best day to buy. Also, watch for rebated on new vehicles. These can be found at the manufactures websites. Good luck in your quest.

Ford is not having any issue selling the Mustang so don't wait to long if you are expecting much better incentives. However as a Ford Salesman I can tell you any time is good to buy if you are serious but end of the month is always best. If you are a X-Plan buyer the price is the price per the agreement terms. Where you can work us is on trade, finance terms and rate ect. Now if you are not X-Plan you will have great leverage at the end of the month. BUt with incentives that is Ford and the car is just selling well that the national inventory is not a concern to them so I don't expect anything crazy there. Hope that makes sense.
