Well i recently had my top replaced on mine i shopped several places and the prices ranged from $650 to $1500. Anything over is too much.

if thats top dollar for that car , top should be fixed before you buy it

Just had the top replaced on my '86 GT in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. for $1,500. Good job too!

I found a top for my 2006 Mustang GT on ebay through: thetopshopauto for around $359.00 shipping included it came with rear defroster, headliner, and a 5 YR WARRANTY and took it to a local shop who put it on for less than $300. But for the amount of this vehicle ask for a lower price or even if they will have it replaced. Good Luck!
