I looked into this when I had a toyota matrix. I beleive the best option would be to harvest disc brakes/lines/master cylinder from a separate model of the same car/platform. One of the issues I read about was the master cylinder pressure capabilities being "off" due to a different pressure amount needed to operate the drums. Since your front brakes are doing most of the braking anyhow, you will not see much of any increase in braking performance unless you install a balanced system and plan to use your brakes in a track-like environment (without balance, braking while cornering can become "tricky"). Due to the bang for your buck and potential issues, I decided not to move forward on it, but I am sure someone else out there has successfully done this on your car... I just didn't like seeing drums under my wheels. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your response. There are two reasons that i want to change that in my car. 1st is that i don't even like seeing drums under my wheels. and the 2nd is i think the braking system will be improved if that is changed. That's why i need a more specific answer for my 2nd reason of changing. Hope someone is there who can help me. Thanks again!
