Coolant Leak (Possible heater core change?)

My '02 Camry SE has a coolant leak, not sure where from. I can hear coolant
rushing into and out of the heater core (I'd guess because of the leak
allowing air in), only when the car is starting and in high RPMs. Looking for
advice on how to locate the leak and stop it. I've changed the water pump
and thermostat but I'm still leaking fluid. I'm guessing heater core but I don't
have a drop of coolant leaking onto the floorboards, just under the
approximate location of the core. Thanks

A cooling system pressure test will find your leak. If you don't want to take it to a shop for the test you can rent or borrow the test equipment from most auto parts stores. You may also have a bad radiator cap, it's not holding pressure and causing coolant to overflow when it gets hot. Regarding the heater core, there is a drain in the heater box that will drain leaked coolant and condensation to the ground, so a small leak may not show up on your floorboards.
