1994 Nissan altima manual door lock not working from outside or inside

Asked by Stacey Aug 19, 2013 at 04:29 PM about the Nissan Altima

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1994 Nissan Altima with manual door locks.  The driver's side lock has stopped working from outside with a key and from inside will not lock or unlock.  Need to know how to fix and how to remove door panel with door shut.  Or where to cut open the door panel.  Thanks

it sounds like the inside latch is busted. your going to need a type of small hook to unlatch the door. And your going to cut under the arm rest
