Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Altima has a problem with the battery. I charge the battery and after a few starts it dies. There is a ticking noise comming from the steering colum, I replaced the turn signal switch already.
Has anyone experianced this problem or have any ideas on what the problem is?

It's possible your hazard flasher is ticking but not coming on. Have your alternator checked for charging output as Papa has suggested.

It sounds like it could be the alternator to me. I had the same ticking noise from the turn signal switch. It wasn't as loud as when the turn signal was on and ticking, and it was a little faster rate? It eventually quit and never drained my battery. When I say it eventually quit, I mean 10 years later.
