1998 altima, quit on highway

1998 altima, quit on highway, towed home. Cranks, has spark ( pulled plug),
has fuel ( pulled line at injectors). sprayed ether in air cleaner, won"t fire.

Friend with a Snap-on OB2 reader couldn't communicate with the ECM. I tried an ANCEL AD410 and got PO325 for Knock sensor. would a fried knock sensor cause the shut down ? Cam sensor is in the distributor and only comes in a new one.
