How much can i boost the turbo on a volkswagen 2.0 tsi?

I have a 2010 volkswagen cc and i want to give it more power. I've had some ideas of
either tuning the turbo or chipping it just to get more boost since the engine and turbo
are essentially the same as the Golf GTI. Im not very experienced with this sort of
thing so i was going to have a reliable shop either do the mods or provide some help. I
know the DSG transmission cant handle more than 300 ft/lbs of torque which only
leaves me abut 100 to play with. Im looking for any general advice on how to go about
this, what parts to use, and any other parts I'd need to keep the car running smoothly
and reliably such as air intake, manifolds, cooling system etc.. Any help/advice would
be great, Thanks Everyone!

I have some free advice, don't do it. Unless you the money for a new car or engine. The VW engine will take very little quick heat changes, and your going to get them, today OEM engines are not designed for it. Good luck

Thanks. Im assuming id run into the same types of issues if i just tuned the wastegate for more compression? Im not looking to make it a fire breathing monster just make a nice noise and get a little more straight line speed.

A conservative re-flash of the ECU can yield some great results. The current Golf R is ~260hp from the factory. I know of at least one of those re-flashed to around 300hp with no ill effects. APR Tuning is one well-respected source of 2.0T upgrades. If you get on the MyFastGTI forum, I'll bet you can glean a lot of good info.
