what do i need to ask the mechanic about my chrysler sebring relating to having a rebuilt motor put in?

I carried my cat to a shop for service they forgot to take the old oil gasket out
as a result when the new one was put in on top of the old one it caused the oil to leak out. on my way home I had no oil and my car motor locked up.

Ask them for a new motor but since they are incompetent have someone else do the work.
