Ford Bantam diesel to petrol conversion

I have removed my Ford Bantam 1.8 Diesel engine and
I have bought a 1.3 Rocam Engine
Do I only need to change the front harness or I need
all the wiring from a petrol version of the car

Wow; what a terrible idea! Diesel cars differ from gasoline cars in many ways beyond the engines themselves. There's fuel storage & delivery: the tanks, piping, and pumps & fuel pressure are different. the car's electronics are different: different computers & ECUs. And don't forget about emissions. If this car was built after 1990, it would be cheaper to get $500 for the car at a salvage yard and buy a gasoline vehicle. I commend your initiative; now put it to productive use.

Yes. Petrol to Diesel is possible, but the other way is nearly impossible.

Im understand as the 1800 Diesel Parts are difficult to get. It will be the engine , transmission and drive shafts as well as the front wiring harness and Computer box. You will also need the key reader. The Ford Ikon with the Rocam components are exactly the same as Bantam.
