my 06 cts wont unlock the doors with the remote, any ideas?

2006 Caddy CTS remote locks the doors but won't unlock them.

Have you checked the battery in the key fob?

i kinda thought that if it locked the doors opened the trunk and everything else the battery should be fine, but I'll check out. Thanks.

I had the same issue and a quick trip to the service department had it fixed. They just reprogrammed the key and presto chango, it worked perfectly.
