hot relays

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My fuel pump relay gets really hot. Changed the
relay fuse box but what else could be the problem.
1999 Chevy tahoe 5.7 7liter 4ad.

Fuel pump was replaced maybe a year ago..however if fuel pump drawing too much power should I replace it again?

I suppose you could check the amp draw to see what it is before replacing the pump. You could also try swapping around relays in case the relay is at fault.
