Ignition switch & starter replaced

Asked by Ami_19259 Feb 15, 2017 at 09:45 PM about the 2008 Mitsubishi Galant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the ignition switch
& starter. Car still won't start.
Does anyone know why? Does the
key need to be reprogrammed if
ignition wasn't changed?

Something going on with the key? If you got a new key it would have to be programmed at the dealer.

If a key is worn it would cause a problem with starting or unlocking the door. Sounds like you need new keys.
