Car won't accelerate to switch gears

I have a 2008 Ford Mustang manual v6 when I start the
car up it blows my engine#1 fuse and when driving I don't
get enough power to accelerate and change gear would
could be my problem?

Something in the fuse #1 circuit is drawing too much current causing the fuse to open. You need to determine why this is occurring.

I had a couple friends take a look and one said I could have a pinched wire somewhere and another said it could be a ground or something...I don't know too much about cars...I'm tryin to get as much info as I can before I get overcharged at a shop
