Change the oil and change the sparkplugs. How cold was it?

hey thanks It was really cold -26 celcius. Blew the muffler right off the tr uck .Since then bought a new battery, put in a new starter, new muffler, wires etc.Truck wouldnt shift right . Kept showing it was in 3rd gear so wouldnt start.just put on a new safety neutral switch. Will show the right gear when you shift it on the transmission but now the shifter on the steering column wont move. What is that about ? Help
