what engine do you have? what part of the country do you live? Is your driving mostly city or highway?

The second generation CTS's will get about 21MPG if your doing normal mixed mode driving. Use Premium gas will bring that closer to 24MPG. Of course there are plenty of variables to that, especially if you travel along hilly roads.
