Automatic? Check fluid level. Manual, check linkage. If that is all good, you may have internal issues. It should still be under warranty. If not, it will not hurt to ask the dealership service written on what to check. Usually they see a lot of similar issues so may know what can cause it. We don't know if you drive a lot off road, or just freeway back and forth to work. So it's hard to pinpoint.

Truck just cut off at light was able to pull over but it will not stay cranked unless my foot is on gas and when that is done I hear a tapping noise. It's not battery cause lights and radio come on....
