Car wont start unless it's jumped

Asked by GuruWF256 May 27, 2018 at 01:41 PM about the 2007 Honda Civic Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OK so my car was working perfectly fine one day
and the next the (digital) dash fluttered and I could
hear clicking coming from under the hood but
wouldn't start at all. Jumped the car, took it to
autozone just fine and was told my battery had
100% charge but was a bad battery. So I put a new
one in and now my car wont even flutter, click, or
try to turn over. Took it back, and they put another
brand new battery in. I tried to turn it over and the
battery sparked and instantly went from 100% to
dead. They couldn't even get a reading on it.

You need to either clean or replace the battery terminal ends not making good connection to the battery.
