2006 Range Rover HSE for sale on car gurus in NY over heats

I spoke to dealer,  The said that it over heats, he thinks it could be a clogged hose.  My thoughts are more a cracked block.  They have dropped the price but that is a big issue if the block is cracked.  I think they should replace the hose and see.  The mentioned they have a mechanic but not a lift. hmmm?  I can't believe that there is a repair place close that they could send it to, to find out.  what are your thoughts?
