Add some punctuation to your post to make it easier to read. And what about the chicken??

Is this a high-mileage motor? Well maintained? If it was not well maintained the engine may have a lot of gunk in it. You could try a treatment like Seafoam then another oil change. They also make oils for high-mileage motors that have extra conditioners, sealers, and additives that may help prevent lifter noise. I'd let a mechanic advise on route to take, since using the wrong product could make matters worse.

Yeah I was a little lost on the whole part about the chicken and the store, LOL.

10w40 oil is probably not the correct oil for this vehicle, but I wouldn't think it would make it tick.
