Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My '05 Tahoe is experiencing low oil pressure at startup.  It runs around 30-35psi no matter whether it is idling or running at 2,000 rpm.  After idling for a few minutes a lifter starts ticking as well.   If I let the engine idle for 10 minutes or so (building heat in the engine) the lifter pumps up and the oil pressure returns to its normal range.  It will remain normal until you shut it down and it cools and then it starts over again.  Has anyone experienced similar symptoms?  Any ideas?  Worn pump?  Bad o-ring?  Cam bearings?
