Battery charge light staying on GMC Envoy

I accidentally left my keys in car in on position and it drained my battery.  We
charged it back up, and the battery is fine, and so is the alternator. We had
them checked at the Auto Zone; however the Check batter light on the dash is
staying on and has not gone off.   :/

Check voltage of battery with car off, what is it? Now check voltage with car running, what is it? Also, with truck running, change meter to AC volts, what is it? I have found that Autozone can't check the diodes properly on the alternator. Check your connections again too, tighten them up.
