blower fan for heat and a/c

Sounds like either the switch or the fan is failing, hard to say which without more detailed testing.

thank you, my husband had taken some fuses out yesterday to check them and it has come on both times I have tried since then.

Well that was a nice cheap repair! :-)

Im dealing with that right now. Tap on the inside cab fuse block. You will have to take the bolster off under the steering wheel.
