Gas leak and it's dangers

Question type: General

My step son has a 67 mustang he is rebuilding and
it's in are attached garage. It has gas leak that isn't
fixed yet and now our entire house smells very
strongly of gas. My concern and question is just
how dangerous is this? Is my entire house and
garage flammable?  Am I looking at possible
health risk? Should I do something or am I
overreacting?

No you are not over reacting. Get all the window opened up! Just turning on a light switch would set off the fumes from the gas, one major explosion. Extremely dangerous!
