Going by the listings here on CarGurus there are 3 listed, from $2500, $3200, and $10,000 1972 Bugs in various condition

One on the Bay Area Craigslist right now, green, good color for a Beetle really nice lookin' all around- $3500

I saw a 73 Super Beetle at the VW show in Ypsilanti, Mi that was completely restored for $5300. I thought that was a great deal. I have a 74 Super Beetle I use as a daily driver. It looks nice at 50 feet and I wouldn't take less than $5800 for it.
