cooling alteration?

Asked by MikeyI Apr 10, 2013 at 12:49 PM about the 1972 Volkswagen Beetle

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Any opinion on why my '72 VW Beetle only has one fresh air hose?  Why the empty hole on the passenger  side? All the spots in question have a crude red arrow to them. Thank for you time!

Connect a hose and see what it does. Here's a link to a bunch of VeeDub engines - http://images.info.com/searchw? qkw=1972+vw+engine&qcat=images&q=1972+vw+engine&qhqn=1972+ vw+engine&KW=1972+vw+engine
