Cooling fans

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 16 VW Beetle S, the cooling fans were not
coming on so I replaced them, and they work great,
only problem now is if the car is off and I open the
door the fans come on for 20 sec then turn off, I'm
stumped why this is happening. Anyone had this
before or similar? Pulling my hair out on this one.
Please HELP!
