does anyone know how to remove the starter motor?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey yall, i am new at this and i am trying to get my ram 50 running. I suspect a faulty
starter motor. But it looks impossible to get out without taking the whole truck apart.
Anyone got any advice for getting the starter out?

raise it up on a lift, i have a 1989 dodge ram 50 with a 2.6 liter in it. we had to replace the starter in it, so we raised it up on the lift and used an impact, or a ratchet, with a long extention and a wobbly socket on it to remove it, and it should just fall right outta there, after unplugging the wires on the starter
