Clutch cable

How do u adjust the clutch cable on a '87 Dodge Ram 50 pickup? If even possible.. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I have and 1988 model ram 50 and the clutch cable comes out of the firewall near the master cylinder it is threaded and has a nut in the threaded portion that kind of looks like a cog/gear or star shaped.

alomost forgot,, the adjustment of the clutch it's adjusted by screwing or unscrewing the star shaped nut on the threaded area of the cable. you have to play with it a little bit to get the right feel for yourself when you let off the clutch.
