96 mb s320 rear windows

cant get the rear windows to roll up on my s320..when I press button makes humming noise but window will not go up please help... is it motor or electronic device/modulator..

window regulator assembly is broken more than likely. the e-class around that year had alot of issues, not so much the s, but it happens. i personally sugest takin that to a good repair shop, preferably a dealer, cus the door panels on those cars are really tricky to get off without breaking if you havent done it before
