My car is failing to start. I have put the car in the ignition but its failing to even turn. The lights are not even coming on. The battery is new and less than two weeks old. I am stuck at the office

The relay on the starter is probably bad. Try starting it with a screwdriver. Put the metal part of the screwdriver between the two terminals with the ignition on.
