It shut off will turn over but will
not crank was running fine it has
done it serial tines but would
start right back

Your getting cranking confused with starting. Cranking is the starter engaging to start the engine, starting is the engine turning over and running. If you have an intermittent issue with starting and still cranking, then you have a spark and or fuel pressure issue. You can test for both.
