99 3.9 dodge 1500....runs good then starts spitting and sputtering

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

runs great and then out of no where starts spitting and sputtering popping back .Then it will pick up and
start running fine again.Anyone have any ideas.Replaced dist.cap and rotor,Also fuel pump.Thank u so
much!

Make sure you didn't cross any of the spark plug wires when you changed the distributor

the pulse ring is held in with plastic. At about 100,00 miles it starts moving around due to the plastic melting. Replacing your Distributer is the only fix I know. Check out U tube for video of this if your unsure.
