Why is my 2006 Dodge Ram overheating when im stopped but cools down when im moving if it has plenty of coolant?

you dont need a fan technically while driving as air is forced thru the rad.. your fans/ operating at an idle after warm up???

The thermostat might possibly be getting stuck open and closed while pressure is applied. I would recommend getting it to a shop and having it check out.
