How do I change thermostat in 2006 PT Crusier

the easiest way is to remover the upper intake since the top radiator hose goes under it and connects to the thermostat housing, how I do mine, is I remove the hose from the top of the radiator and then remove the 2 bolts from the thermostat housing and lift and pull the hose partially from under the intake until I can remove the hose clamp, and hose from thermostat housing then lift the thermostat housing straight up, to install, I put 4 dabs of silicone on the bottom of the seal and let it dry for bout 15 min. then carefully lower back into place and carefully and evenly tighten the 2 screws not to crack the plastic housing, fill up and burp air from system..
