i can not remember all the details but you have to take the dash panel in front of the stereo out to get to the deck there are some hidden screws somewhere if i remember my brother just did it to take out the head unit i put in to put the original back in it to sell it. i will ask him but its not to hard to to he did the whole thing in a few hours maybe less.

okay, the wood trim pops off, then with a torx screwdriver, undo the screws where the trim is, then the vents pop out and there ia a screw in each one of them, then open your glove box and undo all 4 screws on it and your dash is ready to come of. it should only take a couple minutes to do

If you don't care about the deck then you don't have to be fancy with it. Just get it out. You can purchase faceplate kits for all after market decks. They are easy to install. Label your wires before you remove your old deck and take your time.

There are 2 screws under the deck in the back that are hard to see if you didnt look close enough

I was gonna tell you how cause I took my stereo out and rewired a new CD player by myself when I had a Buick, but then I realized the post was 11 yrs old, so...
