Car starts up runs but hit accelerator and dies

My 1997 Buick Riviera
supercharged starts up runs
but when I hit the gas pedal
dies

Check the fuel pump pressure, change the inline gas filter (located) underneath the driver's side rear tire. And be sure and check the injectors. I would also suggest, have someone to rev the engine and you check to determine if proper exhaustion is being omitted from the tail pipes. If not, this is an indication of a clogged catalytic convertor.
