Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2005 Buick Century makes a grinding sound
then slides & the and abs light comes on.
Then sometimes the service engine soon, abs &
trac off lights all come on with no grinding or
sliding.
My mechanic said that he's seeing it's the left rear
wheel sensor but he's not positive. I don't want to
waste $250 if it is not the problem.
Plus I'm wondering are there more abs sensors?
